Gwendolyn Carol Johnson,
Chairman of the Board and CEO
As CEO of
HCCC, she oversees the implementation of its entire business plan. She retired from nine years as Senior Vice President of
the GMAC Mortgage Corporation, where she facilitated the origination and sale of $1 billion in CRA loans and headed
up the national affordable housing program. She spent
four years at the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, as Director of Affordable Housing Investments. Previously,
she served for 13 years as Vice President of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, where she created and implemented its first
$800 Million Community Investment Fund Program.
Mrs. Johnson
earned her BA and MA degrees from the University of Cincinnati,
and a Graduate Key in Savings and Loan Management from Indiana
University.
Prashant
J. Patel, Director
Mr. Patel has extensive experience in
loan originations, finance and public relations. He has served as a stockbroker with a Series 7 License, worked as a public
relations coordinator for small cap equities and owned and managed retail food establishments in Florida. Mr.
Patel brings a strong business acumen and knowledge of small cap equities to the Board.
Mr. Patel currently resides in Florida,
where he trades his personal investment portfolio and originates real estate loans. He is a Heritage Shareholder.
Mr. Patel
received his B.B.A. degree in Finance and Investment from the Baruch College in New York. (1988).
James M. Cloud, Director
Mr. Cloud is a writer and a pioneer in
natural health education, including co-founder of the Wholistic Health & Nutrition Institute (W.H.N.) in Mill
Valley, California. He has extensive education and experience in convalescent hospital administration and is President of
Ravensbread Inc., through which he plans to direct his future publishing plans. His first novel is being readied
for publication. Mr. Cloud brings his strong writing and communications skills to the Board.
Mr. Cloud
is a native of North Carolina, now living in California finishing two novels and trading a personal investment
portfolio. He is a Heritage Shareholder.
Mr. Cloud
received his B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1970).
R. Lawrence Braddock,
Vice President and Director of Risk Management.
In this position, Mr. Braddock oversees the underwriting and risk management.
Currently he also oversees underwriting for Indepedent Capital Credit Corporation. He has spent the last 10 years in
financial services, during which time he has served as Business Analyst and Assistant Controller for the Merl Financial
Group, Inc., CRA Modeler and Project Analyst for GMAC Mortgage, Series 7, 66, and Life, Accident and Health Insurance,
Licensed Private Client Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch and Independent Consultant to Mass Mutual Insurance Company.
Mr. Braddock received his BA Degree in Banking and Finance with a Minor in English from Morehouse
College in Atlanta, GA. (1993)
Richard "Rick" L. Razzeca,
Vice President, Capital Markets
In this position, Mr. Razzeca oversees the relationships with Capital Markets Consultants;
Institutional Investors, Market Makers and Vendors. Rick has 17 years experience in financial services, working for Beneficial,
now a subsidiary of HSBC and Prudential Financial. Rick has spent the last 4
years as President of RLR Financial Services and RLR Consulting, brokering both residential and commercial loans, serving
as issuer agent on small IPO’s and consulting for firms gearing up for private placements. He has established relationships with retail mortgage originators, banks and realtors and has conducted
specialized business education and training through Beneficial Management Institute.
Rick holds a BA in Economics from Westminster College.
